Background
The future is a bleak and desolate place. Humans have long since moved underground in order to continue surviving, but, it's not much better than it is on the surface. Genetic experimentation is common, and local mafia families are the one and only source of law. Enter Haine Rammsteiner. He's an albino gunman who could really care less about the bounties he hunts. If he didn't have to eat, he wouldn't. Haine's probably the deadliest bounty hunter around, and not just because he's good with his luger and mauser. Haine was genetically altered as a child, the spine of "Cerberus" was inplanted in him. This made him immortal- he can regenerate any part of his body, external or internal. However, this also caused the birth of the "dog". His second personality. The dog lives for carnage and destruction, and isn't limited to using guns to cause it. The dog has literally ripped off part of a guy's face with his teeth! While Haine's background has not been fully explored in the canon, what we do know is that he spent most if not all of his childhood in an underground genetic research facility as a specimen. Scientists were trying to create the ultimate human weapon. While they did techincally succeed, the experiments, (mostly Haine it appears), turned on them and slaughtered them all. It's been revealed that Haine killed his "sister" Lily in this rampage, litterally ripping her apart. This has affected his personality greatly. When Haine found Nill, a genetically modified girl who was going to be sold into prostitution, he saved her. She is to date, the only girl who can touch or be near him without stimulating his phobia. When Badou asked, Haine merely replied that maybe it was because she technically wasn't a girl anymore, or that he felt a certain kinship with her, but Nill was definitly different. Haine wears bandages on his neck. These cover a metal collar that appears to be fused to him. Touching, or, even getting near this should the bandages come undone causes him to flip out. Heck, the last guy who tried got turned into swiss cheese.

Personality
Normally, Haine's got a pretty neutral attitude. He tends to be punctual, or, at least, faster than Badou, his partner. He often comments on Badou's lateness, stating that he should shove an alarm clock into Badou's empty eye socket. While he'd like to get things done as quickly as possible, he's not above pulling Matrix style moves to get out of a jam. Because of the truama of killing Lily, Haine has an intense fear of women. It's not like he won't talk to them, but, should one get too close, he'll distance himself immeadiately. If one should touch him, he'll flip out. A lot. Though this has only happened a couple times in canon, it wouldn't be out of the question for the dog to appear should Haine succumb to the phobia. Haine also has, understanably, an intense hate of doctor's offices, hospitals and the like. While not as pronounced as the woman phobia, they still cause him to freak out.
